This 8 foots (2,5 meters) tall aluminum sculpture is created by artist Fred Laforge and will be installed in Saguenay birthplace of Denis Piggy D'amour and the band Voïvod.
Fred Laforge is a well established contemporary artist based in Montréal, Canada. He mastered the stratas technique in numerous projects. For more informations and photos of his works go to fredlaforge.com
The main objective is to cover the costs of production, assembly, transport and installation of the sculpture and then to produce and send the rewards to the contributors.
Several people give their time and their talents for the completion of this project and we want to remunerate them according to our abilities. The money raised will be budgeted according to the agreements we have made with the people and companies that will collaborate on the project.
The basic amount of $100,000 will allow us to carry out the sculpture and honor our commitments to contributors. However, the more money we raise, the more we can improve the project.
